Light intensity plays key role in image acquisition when image to be acquired is related to dimensional analysis then it is of great interest that how much of the variation is caused by changing light intensity, also of value is the fact that how different material and their polished or unpolished state may become the cause for variation in image. This paper discusses/ compares the variation in pixel in static images caused by light intensity variation on polished/unpolished steel and aluminum.
