FACTORIAL VALIDATION OF SATISFACTION WITH HEC DATABASES: EVIDENCE FROM A PAKISTANI UNIVERSITY

Purpose- this study validated the effects of four predictors on the satisfaction of the teaching faculty about the use of digital databases at the University of Peshawar. Methods- A quantitative approach and survey method were adopted. Surveys were distributed among the teachers at the University of Peshawar. The sample was recruited randomly. The questionnaire was prepared from a literature review and was validated before data collection. Four hypotheses were built and tested by regression analysis. SPSS was used to perform all the data analyses. Results- All hypotheses are approved. Results are significant and indicate the impact of the predictors on the satisfaction of the teaching faculty. Usefulness was found the strongest indicator of the satisfaction of the teachers regarding satisfaction of the use of digital databases. Originality- This is the 1st study that investigated the constructs empirically in the context of the University of Peshawar.
