The evolution of digital technologies and artificial intelligence has amplified cybersecurity and data privacy challenges, making human behavior a central concern in contemporary protection frameworks. This study explores human-centric cybersecurity through adaptive awareness and behavioral approaches, emphasizing the role of individuals in mitigating cyber risks. Human factors such as cognition, stress, and social influence significantly shape cybersecurity vulnerabilities and resilience. Adaptive awareness models like iCAT integrate gamification, simulations, and real-time feedback to enhance learning, engagement, and retention among users.
