This research explores the humanitarian crisis faced by children of Syria due to the Syrian civil war which lasted nearly 14 years from March 2011 to December 2024. The armed conflicts in various cities of Syria impacted the physical, emotional and psychological condition of Syrian innocent children. The prolonged civil war in Syria generated a serious humanitarian crisis, leading to displacement of nearly one third of total population. The United Nations declared the Syrian crisis as one of the greatest tragedies of the 21st century which killed millions of people including children. This study employs Foucault’s theory of biopolitics to understand how state powers control people and their lives by using violence and power. A qualitative research approach has been adopted to conduct this research, mainly focusing on the international reports and surveys conducted on destruction caused by armed conflicts in Syria.
